  The IDF System/Integrated Dual Feed (top feed) For sewing difficult materials PFAFF provides the ideal solution: the Integrated Dual Feed, IDF system. As on industrial machines, the IDF feeds the fabric from the top and bottom at the same time. The material is fed precisely. On light or difficult fabrics such as silk or rayon the dual fabric feed prevents puckering of the seam.
