Page 5: Pairing The Remote Controller
Mobile App Once you have downloaded the Conexum mobile app from the app store, you can start to setup and pair it with the Conexum remote controller. Launch the app and you will be presented with the End User Software License Agreement, please press “ACCEPT”…

Each Conexum remote controller has a unique id (e.g. Conexum_FFFF0) and the app will scan for this remote controller and indicate it to you. If the app fails to find the remote controller, the following screen will be shown. You can hold down the “OK” + “HOME” key at the same time on the remote controller to reinitialize the pairing process, wait for a BEEP sound and now you can press the “SCAN DEVICE”… -

Adding a New Device If the pairing is successful, you will be able to setup and add up to 4 new devices and start downloading the relevant infrared codes required to operate them for this remote controller. Press “Add new device” and you will be prompted to setup the 4 devices. There are 4 devices location (e.g.

Once you have confirmed setting up on the “TV” location, you can choose from our comprehensive cloud-based Infrared code library and select device. Your smartphone or tablet PC must be connected to the Internet. Select “TV” and press “NEXT” as an example and then you will need to select the device brand. -

Once selected, the mobile apps’ built-in Smart Search feature will find the infrared code for your device. The app will make an attempt to connect to the remote controller via BLE. You will need to point your remote controller to the device to test out a few keys. -

Testing the power button Please press the “Power” button on the app. If the TV turns ON/OFF, then press “YES”, otherwise press “NO” or “SKIP”. *If the TV is now turned off, you may need to turn it on with your original remote or manually for the next step. -

Downloading infrared codes The mobile app will now download the infrared codes to the remote controller. *If you have a second TV, you could also use the other device button (e.g. STB) for setting up the second TV. In total, there are 4 device location available for you to setup. -

Product description Universal remote control (URC) This remote control is manufactured pre-programmed and replaces up to 6 separate remote controldevices for controlling, for example, TVs, VCRs, satellite receivers, cable TV receivers, and dVd players. enter the correct device code and your URC will be ready for use. A list of device codes is found at the very end of this instruction manual. The URC can also be taught (programmed) by existing remote controls. ■ Pre-programmed for most existing brands. ■ Replaces damaged or lost remote controls. ■ Replaces up to 6 remote controls, for example for TVs, VCRs, satellite and digital TV receivers, dVd players, and cable TV receivers. ■ Function for Teletext. ■ Operates on 3x R03/AAA batteries (not included) To consider… ■ The remote control is compatibel with most brands on the market but there is no guarantee that it is compatibel with your specific model of the device. Programming the remote control Entering device code enter the code in the following manner: 1. Open the included code list and look under the headline for the type of device that corresponds to your equipment. TV Brands Codes for TVs VCR Brands Codes for VCRs SAT Brands Codes for satellite receivers as well as codes for digital receivers for cable TV and terrestrial television broadcasting network. CTV Brands Codes for analogue cable TV receivers. DVD Brands Codes for dVd players. Under this headline you then look for the code that corresponds to the brand of your device, for example Philips. every code contains 4 digits. If there is more than one device code for your brand, you begin with the first one. . Turn on, for example, the TV manually or with the original remote control. Choose channel 1.

Note If the LED light flashes 6 times after entering the four digit device code the programming has been interrupted for one of the following reasons: 1. No digit has been pressed during an 8 second period. . An invalid device code has been entered. 3. The device code has not been entered correctly. The device code may only contain the numbers 0-9. Programming a new device code for a chosen device type automatically replaces the old code. [ TV ] – the button can only save TV codes. [ VCR ] – the button can only save VCR codes. [ DVD ] and [ SAT ] – the buttons can save all device codes (incl. TV and VCR codes) Tip! When you have found the correct device code we recommend that you write down the code on the label on the backside of the remote control. If no device code works with your device If you cannot find the correct device code for your device you can search through all the remote control’s codes for the… -

Device type Search code 0001 VCR 000 SAT 0003 CTV 0004 dVd 0005 (In this example, you press the code for TV: 0001) 5. Press the same button as in step for desired device type. (In this example the [ TV ] button). 6. Press the buttons [ CH + ] and [ VOL- ] simultaneously for seconds until the led light is lit. Now the remote control is ready to search. 7. Point the remote control towards desired device (in this example, the TV) and press the button ON/OFF several times slowly and with patience until the device is turned off. When the device has turned off, you immediately press [CH + ] and [ VOL — ] to store the search code. The led light is turned off. In the same manner as above, search for the device code for other devices. Remember to press the correct button for the desired device type in steps and 5 above. -

Usage Normal usage Point the remote control towards the device and press desired button for desired function. The LED light flashes when sending to confirm that the button is pressed. Programme control With this function you can control the TV’s sound level with the volume and the mute buttons without having to switch between the different device buttons, even when the remote control is set on a different device. This is only valid in modes [ SAT ] and [ VCR ]. Activation – Channel switch: 1. Press the button for the device you wish to use, e.g. [TV]. . Press and hold [CH +] while pressing the button for the device on which you wish to change channels for, e.g. -

Double connection — and disconnection function Allows you to turn a second device on or off at the same time as the device the remote control is currently activated on. Programme double connect-/disconnection function: 1. Press the button for the device that will be used with the remote control, e.g. [TV]. . Press and hold at the same time as you press the button for the second device that shall turn on/off right after the first device (the one that was chosen in step 1), e.g. [SAT]. 3. Release . The led blinks once when the function has been activated. Deactivate double connect-/disconnection function: 1. Press the button for the device which the remote control is being used with, e.g. [TV].

Troubleshooting Problem My remote control is not working at all! Action 1 Check your device. If the main on/off switch is on OFF nothing will work. Action Check that the batteries are turned right with the plus and minus the right way. Action 3 Make sure that you have pressed the button for the correct device. Action 4 Change the batteries if they are low. Action 5 It does not work with your device model, the remote control does not work with all models on the market so even if your brand (for example Philips) is included in the code list there is no guarantee that it works with your exact model of the device. Problem If there are several device codes for my device, then what should I do? Action 1 Test the device codes one at a time until you find the one that works with the most buttons.

Programmering av fjärrkontrollen Inknappning av apparatkod Knappa in koden på följande sätt: 1. Slå upp den medföljande kodlistan (Code list) och leta under rubriken för den apparattyp som din utrustning motsvarar. TV Brands Koder för TV-apparater VCR Brands Koder för videoapparater SAT Brands Koder för satellitmottagare samt koder för digitalmottagare för kabel-tv och det markbundna nätet. CTV Brands Koder för analoga kabel-tv mottagare. DVD Brands Koder för dvd-spelare. Under denna rubrik letar du sedan efter den kod som motsvarar märket på din apparat, t.ex. Philips. Varje kod har 4 siffror. Om det finns fler apparatkoder än en för ditt märke så börjar du med den första. -

Anmärkning Om lysdioden blinkar 6 gånger efter inmatning av den fyrsiffriga apparatkoden har programmeringen avbrutits pga. något av följande: 1. Ingen siffra har tryckts in under en period av 8 sekunder. . en ogiltigt apparatkod har knappats in. 3. Apparatkoden har inte knappats in rätt. Apparatkoden får endast innehålla siffrorna 0-9. Programmering av en ny apparatkod på vald apparattyp ersätter automatiskt den gamla koden. [ TV ] – knappen kan endast spara TV-koder. [ VCR ] – knappen kan endast spara VCR-koder. [ DVD ] och [ SAT ] – knapparna kan spara alla apparatkoder (inkl. TV- och VCR-koder). Tips När du funnit rätt apparatkod rekommenderar vi att du antecknar koden på etiketten på baksidan av fjärrkontrollen. (I detta exempel [ TV ] – knappen). 6. Håll knapparna [ CH + ] och [ VOL — ] samtidigt intryckta i sekunder tills lysdioden tänds. Nu är fjärrkontrollen klar för sökning. 7. Rikta fjärrkontrollen mot önskad apparat (i detta exempel mot teveapparaten) och tryck på knappen flera gånger sakta och tålmodigt tills apparaten stängs av. När din apparat har slagits av trycker du omedelbart på [CH + ] och [ VOL – ] för att lagra sökkoden. lysdioden slocknar. Gör på samma sätt som ovan för att söka apparatkoden för övriga apparater. Kom ihåg att trycka på rätt knapp för önskad apparattyp i steg och 5 ovan. -

Tryck på knappen för den apparat som fjärrkontrollen ska användas med, t.ex. [ TV ]. . Tryck och håll in samtidigt som du trycker in knappen för den andra apparaten som ska slå på/av direkt efter den första apparaten (den som valdes i steg 1), t.ex. [ SAT ]. 3. Släpp . lysdioden blinkar en gång när funktionen aktiverats. Avaktivera dubbelt till-/frånslag: 1. Tryck på knappen för den apparat som fjärrkontrollen används med, t.ex. [ TV ]. . Felsökning Min fjärrkontroll fungerar inte alls! Åtgärd 1 Kolla din apparat. Om huvuströmbrytaren står på OFF så fungerar ingenting. Åtgärd Kolla så att batterierna är rätt vända med plus och minus åt rätt håll. Åtgärd 3 Försäkra dig om att du tryckt på knappen för rätt apprattyp. Åtgärd 4 Byt ut batterierna om de är svaga. Åtgärd 5 den passar inte till din modell av apparat. Fjärrkontrollen passar inte till alla modeller på marknaden så även om ditt fabrikat (t.ex. Philips) finns med i kodlistan så är det inte säkert att den passar till just din modell av apparat. Om det står flera apparatkoder för min apparat, hur ska jag då… -

Slå opp den medfølgende kodelisten (Code list) og se under rubrikken for den apparattype ditt utstyr tilsvarer. TV Brands Koder for TV-apparater VCR Brands Koder for videoapparater SAT Brands Koder for satellittmottaker samt koder for digitalmottaker for kabel-TV. Anmerking dersom lysdioden blinker 6 ganger etter inntasting av den 4- siffrede koden, har programmeringen blitt avbrutt på grunn av noe av de følgende: 1. Ingen sifre er tastet i løpet av 8 sekunder. . en ugyldig apparatkode er tastet. 3. Apparatkoden er tastet feil. Koden kan kun inneholde sifrene 0-9. Programmering av en ny apparatkode på valgt apparattype erstatter automatisk den gamle koden. [TV] – knappen kan kun lagre TV-koder [VCR] – knappen kan kun lagre videokoder [DVD] og [SAT] – knappene kan lagre alle apparatkoder (inkl. TV- og VCR-koder). Tips Når du har funnet riktig apparatkode, anbefaler vi at du skriver ned koden på etiketten på baksiden av fjernkontrollen. Rett fjernkontrollen mot ønsket apparat (i dette tilfellet mot TV-apparatet) og trykk på knappen flere ganger sakte og tålmodig til apparatet skrus av. Når apparatet er skrudd av, trykk umiddelbart inn knapp for ønsket apparat (I dette eksemplet [TV] – knappen) for å lagre søkekoden. lysdio- den slukkes. Tuotekuvaus Yleiskaukosäädin Kaukosäädin on valmiiksi ohjelmoitu. Kaukosäädin korvaa jopa 6 erillistä kaukosäädintä, ja sillä voi ohjata esim. televisioita, videonauhureita, satelliittivastaanottimia, dVd-soittimia ja kaapelitelevisiovastaanottimia. Näppäile vain oikea laitekoodi, niin kaukosäädin on käyttövalmis. laitekoodilista löytyy käyttöohjeen lopusta. ■ Ohjelmoitu yhteensopivaksi useimpien tunnetumpien laitteiden kanssa. ■ Korvaa hajonneet tai kadonneet kaukosäätimet. ■ Korvaa jopa 6 kaukosäädintä: Televisiot, videonauhurit, satelliittivastaanottimet, dVd-soittimet ja kaapelitelevisiovastaanottimet. ■ Teksti-TV-toiminto. ■ Paristot (3 kpl R03/AAA) eivät sisälly. Ota huomioon… ■ Kaukosäädin sopii useimpiin markkinoilla oleviin merkkeihin, mutta ei välttämättä juuri sinun laitteeseesi. Kaukosäätimen ohjelmointi Laitekoodin asetus Aseta laitekoodi seuraavalla tavalla 1. Ota esille kaukosäätimen mukana tullut koodilista (Code list), ja hae sieltä laitettasi vastaava laitetyyppi. TV Brands Televisioiden koodit VCR Brands Videonauhureiden koodit SAT Brands Satelliittivastaanottimien ja digivastaanottimien (kaapeli- ja antennimallit) koodit. CTV Brands Analogisen kaapeli-tv-vastaanottimen koodit DVD Brands dVd-soitinten koodit. Hae tämän otsikon alta oman laitteesi merkki, esim. Philips. Jokaisessa koodissa on 4 numeroa. Jos laitteesi merkillä on useita koodeja, aloita ensimmäisellä. . Käynnistä televisio manuaalisesti tai television vanhalla kaukosäätimellä. Valitse kanava 1. 3. Paina halutun laitteen painiketta, esim. [TV] Paina ensin [SHIFT] –painiketta ja sen jälkeen halutun laitteen painiketta, niin voit ohjata vielä 3 muuta laitetta. 4. Pidä painikkeita [CH+] ja [VOL-] samanaikaisesti alas painettuna kahden sekunnin ajan, kunnes merkkivalo syttyy. -

Huomautus Mikäli merkkivalo vilkkuu 6 kertaa 4-numeroisen laitekoodin syöttämisen jälkeen, ohjelmointi on keskeytynyt jonkin seuraavan syyn takia: 1. Mitään painiketta ei ole painettu 8 sekunnin aikana. . Olet syöttänyt väärän laitekoodin. 3. laitekoodia ei ole syötetty oikein. laitekoodissa voi olla ainoastaan numerot 0-9. Valitun laitetyypin uuden laitekoodin ohjelmoiminen korvaa automaattisesti vanhan koodin. [TV] –painike voi tallentaa ainoastaan TV-koodeja. [VCR] –painike voi tallentaa ainoastaan VCR-koodeja (videonauhuri). [DVD] ja [SAT] –painikkeet voivat tallentaa kaikkia laitekoodeja (myös. TV- ja VCR-koodeja). Vinkki! Kun olet löytänyt oikean laitekoodin, suosittelemme, että merkitset koodin kaukosäätimen takapuolella olevaan etikettiin. Laitetyyppi Hakukoodi 0001 0002 0003 0004 0005 (Näppäile tässä tapauksessa television koodi: 0001) 5. Paina uudelleen samaa, halutun laitetyypin painiketta, kuten kohdassa , (tässä tapauksessa [TV]-painiketta). 6. Pidä painikkeita [CH+] ja [VOL – ] samanaikaisesti alas painettuna kahden sekunnin ajan, kunnes merkkivalo syttyy. Nyt kaukosäädin valmis hakua varten. 7. Suuntaa kaukosäädin kohti haluttua laitetta (tässä tapauksessa televisio) ja paina -painiketta useita kertoja hitaasti ja kärsivällisesti kunnes laite sammuu. Kun laitteesi on sammunut, tallenna hakukoodi painamalla välittömästi [CH+] ja [VOL-] . Merkkivalo sammuu. etsi muiden laitteiden laitekoodit samalla tavalla. Muista painaa oikeaa painiketta halutun laittetyypin kohdalla ja 5 mukaisesti. Tärkeää! Mikäli laitteesi virtakytkintoiminto ei ole infrapunaohjattu, seuraa kohtia — 6 ja aloita haku. Vianetsintä Ongelma Kaukosäätimeni ei toimi ollenkaan! Toimenpide 1 Tarkista laite. Mikäli laitteen päävirtakytkin on sammutettu (asennossa OFF), kauko- säädin ei toimi ollenkaan. Toimenpide Tarkista että paristojen napaisuus on oikein Toimenpide 3 Tarkista, että olet painanut oikean laitetyypin painiketta. Toimenpide 4 Vaihda heikot paristot. Toimenpide 5 Kaukosäädin ei toimi sinun laitemallisi kans- sa. Kaukosäädin ei sovi kaikkiin markkinoilla oleviin malleihin. Vaikka laitteesi merkki, esim. Philips olisi listalla, ei ole varmaa, että kaukosäädin sopisi juuri sinun malliisi. Ongelma Ongelma: Mitä teen, jos laitteellani on useita laitekoodeja? Toimenpide 1 Testaa laitekoodit yksi kerrallaan, kunnes löydät sen koodin, johon suurin osa painik- keista reagoi oikealla tavalla. Ongelma Ongelma: Laitteeni reagoi vain joihinkin käskyihin.
